The families who select Alpha rely on trusted advisors across every area of their lives. You will become the advisor they've been missing in education.

You'll serve as the person they reach out to when uncertainty arises, when instincts tell them something needs attention, or when they experience a milestone they know you'll appreciate. You'll understand each family deeply enough to sense what they require before they articulate it—and you'll possess the judgment and composure to address whatever they bring with discretion, warmth, and effortless professionalism. Over time, you won't simply be associated with their child's school. You'll become woven into the fabric of how they navigate this period of their family's journey.

This level of trust isn't built through procedure. It emerges from presence—daily, consistent, unhurried. You'll be available during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, at evening gatherings that hold significance, and in the unscheduled one-on-one exchanges that never appear on a calendar. You'll cultivate a community that families feel invested in protecting, where belonging feels natural and referrals occur because the experience merits them.

Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete core academics in two hours per day using AI-powered applications, then dedicate the remainder of their time to public speaking, critical thinking, and real-world projects. No lectures. No busywork. Top 1% outcomes nationally. The families who choose it are investing in something they value—but conviction requires nurturing.

You'll sustain that dialogue with every family, through every uncertainty, for the duration of their child's enrollment. If advocating for an unconventional model to discerning skeptics feels like a challenge you'd rather avoid, this position isn't suited to you. If it sounds like the most compelling conversation you could be leading, continue reading.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Take full ownership of the relationship with every family on campus—the evolving, deepening connection that ensures parents feel recognized, not merely serviced
  • Identify concerns before they escalate into formal conversations, and address them with the discretion and interpersonal skill that preserves trust
  • Maintain visible presence where families gather: morning drop-off (7–9am), afternoon pick-up (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend activities
  • Create a campus community with authentic depth—events, traditions, and moments of connection that foster a sense of belonging worth defending
  • Develop parent advocates through organic engagement, delivering experiences of such consistent quality that referrals emerge naturally
  • Sustain the ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-powered approach with families managing screen time concerns, skeptical relatives, and moments of uncertainty—not only during enrollment, but across their entire campus experience
  • Recognize when a family alignment isn't optimal and manage that situation with the same care you apply to everything else—safeguarding the community is integral to serving it
  • Establish the systems and routines this position demands in an environment where the framework is still under development

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing enrollment—that falls under the Admissions Director's purview; your work commences when families join and grows from that point
  • Operating from behind a desk—your presence within the community defines the role
  • Maintaining standard 9–5 hours—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening engagements are intrinsic to the position, not occasional occurrences
  • Depending on administrative infrastructure, established workflows, or a complete team—you function with significant autonomy and create what's necessary
  • Approaching family relationships as accounts requiring management—this role rewards authentic connection, not adherence to process

Regional Director Of Family Engagement Key Responsibilities

Serve as the trusted relationship at the heart of every family's Alpha experience. Maintain their confidence through challenging moments, build a community where belonging feels meaningful, and establish the conditions under which satisfied families become enthusiastic advocates.

Basic Requirements

  • Currently reside within commuting distance of one of these campuses OR willing to relocate within 60 days (preference for candidates with existing community roots): Scottsdale, AZ; Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; Park City, UT; Chantilly, VA; or Kirkland, WA
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • 5 years in a relationship role serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropy, or any environment where discretion, warmth, and social fluency were as critical as technical capability
  • Proven capacity to maintain relationships through challenging situations with sophisticated families and conclude with trust strengthened
  • Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—not polished in a manner that appears rehearsed
  • Direct familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education—through professional experience or as a parent—that provides you credible standing when families challenge the model
  • Sincere conviction in AI-powered education and the capacity to sustain that belief authentically across years of parent relationships, not solely during the enrollment phase
  • Availability for flexible hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening events 2–3x/month, and occasional weekend activities

Nice-to-have Requirements

Exceptional candidates will have at least one of the following:

  • Established relationships within the local affluent community that would provide you immediate, organic credibility on campus
  • Private school or independent school background with demonstrated success in family retention and community building—not merely enrollment metrics
  • Experience managing high-stakes family relationships where your judgment and discretion were the foundation of sustained trust
  • A talent for designing experiences—events, moments, environments—where individuals feel they belong to something worth safeguarding
  • Prior startup or early-stage experience where you built from the ground up and maintained composure amid rapid change
