What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading Interventionist, gt.school - $100,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- On-site role in Georgetown, Texas—just 30 minutes outside Austin—with full relocation assistance available
- Annual salary of $100,000, paid out weekly, plus health, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one
- 40 hours per week, full-time position at a school recognized globally for its innovation
At gt.school, students don't passively receive instruction. They engage with adaptive learning platforms designed to accelerate their progress five to ten times faster than traditional classrooms. This structure allows you to focus on what truly transforms a child: developing life skills, inspiring them to pursue ambitious goals, and maintaining expectations that compel them to rise. You're not the deliverer of academic material. You're the catalyst that drives a seven-year-old to surpass her own achievements.
Your workday revolves around small groups rather than large classes of thirty. You may facilitate a one-hour session on concentration or public speaking each morning, followed by individual support in the afternoon for a student facing obstacles. You'll apply actionable data to identify the right motivator that re-engages a hesitant learner. When a child resists, your responsibility is to earn their commitment while maintaining rigorous standards. Upholding those standards demonstrates your belief in their capacity to succeed.
Excel with your cohort, and advancement follows. Lead Guides mentor the broader team on motivation and expectations. Campus Leads oversee entire school operations. This role marks the beginning of that trajectory.
Bring your drive and your high standards. Submit your application now.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitate one-hour life skills sessions for small groups of gifted children aged five to eight, focusing on concentration, self-control, public speaking, and constructive feedback exchange
- Conduct individual and small-group coaching designed to drive every student toward ambitious objectives within their adaptive learning platforms
- Study the life skills curriculum and lesson frameworks, then present them with narrative flair and enthusiasm rather than rigid adherence to a script
- Coordinate and administer Test2Pass mastery evaluations, promoting only those students who have truly achieved skill proficiency
- Analyze student backgrounds, interests, and Coachbot performance data to select the most effective motivator—whether school currency, leaderboards, or other incentives—for each individual child
- Delivering lectures to a full classroom. Academic instruction occurs within the software; your role is to guide students through the process
- Developing or following a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum. The platforms adjust to individual learners, eliminating the need to teach toward the average
- Supervising thirty students simultaneously. You'll work with smaller cohorts where you know each child personally
- Overseeing children passively engaged with screens. Passive monitoring contradicts the core of this position
- Advancing students who haven't demonstrated mastery simply to maintain favorable weekly metrics
Guide gifted students in grades K-3 to accelerate their learning substantially while cultivating the self-assurance and life competencies that foster a genuine love of school.

- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Prior experience coaching or mentoring gifted students or high-achieving learners
- Familiarity with personalized or technology-enabled instruction, including adaptive applications or other educational technology systems
- Background in performance, coaching, or camp leadership: individuals who can captivate a room of young children through sheer presence and energy
