At Alpha, this has been demonstrated. Students in grades K-2 complete core academic work in 2 hours per day through AI-driven adaptive systems. Your role is not to deliver traditional instruction—it is to coach. You will facilitate life skills workshops that inspire engagement, guide students toward their learning targets, and cultivate the mindsets and routines required for long-term success. This position is central to the most forward-thinking school model in operation today: you deliver Alpha's 3 Promises directly to a focused group of learners and transform their educational experience.

What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy concepts introduced by Reading Specialists
- Encouraging students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional self-regulation, perseverance, and critical thinking through consistent routines and supportive engagement
- Monitoring individual student development and challenges, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in coordination with your team
- Building a classroom environment that is both structured and dynamic, fostering connection and discovery
- Delivering instruction in core academic subjects - our Apps handle that
Inspiring students to learn at 2x speed and develop a passion for education
Basic Requirements
- Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 3 years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
- Dynamic communicator and captivating presenter: capable of engaging and sustaining the focus of young learners in group settings
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high expectations for both yourself and students, and to motivate children to achieve their objectives
- Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
