What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitate individualized and small-group mentoring for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and recognizing quantifiable progress
- Architect and lead play-centered learning experiences that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, exemplifying excellence for the broader team
- Evaluate and align Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and actionable insight, conducting calibration meetings to maintain milestone transparency
- Develop family communications and coordinate team briefings that synchronize priorities and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK readiness outcomes
Montessori Program Director key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or advanced certification preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a comparable area
- Direct experience facilitating learning for young children aged 3 to 5
- Demonstrated capability to create and execute play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone achievement e.g. Montessori
- Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring or supervising educator teams with measurable performance expectations
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities for effective family engagement and team coordination
- Authorized to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Prepared to work on-site at Alpha Austin campus with relocation support offered as necessary

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
