What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops for 4-7 year olds that build foundational skills in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized motivational sessions that engage children and foster a lifelong love of reading
- Reviewing student progress data to iteratively refine your methods and identify actionable insights
- Working alongside the tech team to assess and improve AI literacy tools
- Following pre-scripted curricula or published scope-and-sequence
Cultivate a love of reading in young learners
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
- Comfortable with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Availability to work on-site at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
