What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting focused, high-impact reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency
- Creating individualized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
- Reviewing student performance data to refine teaching strategies and identify actionable trends
- Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-supported content that helps early elementary learners reach grade-level reading proficiency
- Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—students engage with academic content via AI-adaptive applications
Literacy Coordinator key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-packaged curricula
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and responding to student engagement patterns within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Able to work on-site at one of our campuses: Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico
