What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct engaging reading workshops that build essential skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency
• Create inspiring sessions tailored to ignite children's passion for reading
• Utilize data analytics to refine strategies and derive meaningful insights for student progress
• Work alongside tech experts to assess and improve AI literacy tools
  
  

Basic Requirements

Literacy Coach key responsibilities

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree and advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or similar credentials)
• Have at least 2 years of experience in conducting small-group reading interventions for early elementary students
• Expert in evaluating reading levels, forming student groups, and crafting personalized instruction without relying on pre-made curricula
• Proficient in using AI/adaptive learning tools and skilled at responding to student interactions within them
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Open to working onsite at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
