This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting focused, short-duration reading workshops that build phonics, comprehension, and fluency skills
- Creating personalized motivational sessions leveraging gamified literacy milestones
- Reviewing student progress data to refine instructional approaches and identify actionable insights
- Working alongside engineers to assess and improve AI literacy tools informed by classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-enhanced content that helps early elementary students reach grade-level proficiency
- Conducting 90-minute classes or adhering to traditional curricula—students engage with academic subjects through AI-adaptive apps
Instructional Coordinator key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master's degree in reading instruction
- At least 2 years of experience conducting small-group reading interventions with K–2 students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, grouping students, and creating differentiated instruction without relying on pre-written curricula
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning tools and responding to student behaviors within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico
