What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy instruction delivered by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet weekly academic milestones
- Guiding emotional self-regulation, resilience, and critical thinking through consistent frameworks and supportive engagement
- Monitoring student development and challenges, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in coordination with your team
- Cultivating a classroom environment that balances structure, energy, and individual connection
- Delivering instruction in core academic subjects - our Apps handle that

Basic Requirements
- Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 3 years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching contexts, or comparable environments
- Captivating storyteller and dynamic presenter: capable of engaging and sustaining the focus of young learners in group settings
- Capable of maintaining high expectations for both yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their objectives
- Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
