What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Client Relations, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most enrollment positions prioritize throughput. This one is designed to uphold quality.
Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school systems in existence. Our sites combine demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely outpace national learning rates, supported by measurable data. Afternoons shift toward depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The approach is effective. But it depends entirely on enrolling the right families.
This is your focus.
You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role with handoffs. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure fit.
We welcome applicants from high-caliber service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership platforms, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen complex, high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase engagement with sound judgment, transparent communication, and consistent follow-through.
If your professional experience centers on delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experiential quality shape brand perception, this opportunity will resonate—now applied to work that meaningfully impacts lives.
This is a salaried, full-time, on-campus position. We are currently recruiting in Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Orange County, Roswell, Chicago, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Relocation assistance is provided.
