What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Success Director, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- On-site (multiple locations—refer to Requirements)
- W2 Employee
- $200K/yr
You will be the person they reach out to when uncertainty arises, when instincts tell them something needs attention, or when they want to share a milestone they trust you'll appreciate. You'll develop an understanding of each family deep enough to foresee needs before they surface—and possess the composure and discernment to respond with care, warmth, and seamless professionalism. Over time, your role will extend beyond the school itself. You'll become woven into how they navigate this stage of their family journey.
Trust at this level isn't produced by systems. It's built through presence—consistent, unhurried, and daily. You'll be there during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, at the evening gatherings that count, and in the informal conversations that rarely appear on a schedule. You'll create a community families actively protect, where inclusion feels natural and word-of-mouth referrals emerge because the experience merits them.
Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Core academics are completed in two hours each day through AI-powered applications, freeing students to focus on public speaking, critical thinking, and applied projects. No traditional lectures. No filler assignments. Outcomes that place students in the top 1% nationally. Families who select Alpha are investing in a vision they value—but that vision requires stewardship.
You'll sustain that dialogue with every family, through every question and hesitation, for the duration of their child's enrollment. If the idea of advocating for an unconventional approach to discerning skeptics feels burdensome, this position isn't the right match. If it strikes you as the most compelling conversation you could be part of, continue reading.
What You Will Be Doing
- Take ownership of the relationship with every family on your campus—the evolving, deepening bond that ensures parents feel recognized, not merely assisted
- Identify potential concerns before they escalate, addressing them with the tact and interpersonal skill that preserves trust
- Maintain a visible presence in key family moments: morning drop-off (7–9am), afternoon pick-up (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend events
- Foster a campus community with authentic depth—through events, rituals, and engagement points that give families a sense of belonging to something meaningful
- Develop parent champions naturally, delivering experiences that are so reliably outstanding that referrals arise as a matter of course
- Sustain an ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-driven model with families who may face screen time questions, skeptical relatives, or moments of uncertainty—not only during enrollment, but continuously throughout their campus experience
- Recognize when a family may not align with the community and address that situation with the same care you bring to all interactions—safeguarding the community is an integral part of service
- Develop the frameworks and routines this position demands in a setting where established protocols are still emerging
- Overseeing enrollment—that falls under the Admissions Director; your responsibility starts when families enroll and grows from that point
- Operating from behind a desk—being present in the community is the essence of this role
- Adhering to standard 9–5 schedules—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening commitments are routine, not occasional
- Relying on administrative infrastructure, established procedures, or a complete team—you'll work with substantial independence and create what's necessary
- Viewing family relationships as transactional accounts—this role values authentic engagement over procedural adherence
Serve as the central trusted relationship in every family's Alpha experience. Maintain their confidence through challenging moments, cultivate a community where belonging is meaningful, and establish the environment in which satisfied families naturally become advocates.
Basic Requirements
- Currently living within commuting range of one of these campuses OR prepared to relocate within 60 days (candidates with established local ties preferred): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
- 5 years in a client-facing role serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—such as private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropy, or any field where discretion, warmth, and interpersonal sophistication were as critical as competence
- Proven capacity to maintain relationships through challenging situations with discerning families and preserve trust throughout
- Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—credible without appearing rehearsed
- Direct familiarity with independent, private, or alternative education—either professionally or as a parent—that provides genuine credibility when families challenge the model
- Sincere conviction in AI-powered education and the ability to communicate that belief authentically across years of parent engagement, beyond initial enrollment discussions
- Flexibility for non-standard hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening events 2–3 times monthly, and occasional weekend participation

- Pre-existing connections within the local affluent community that would provide immediate, organic credibility on campus
- Private or independent school background with a demonstrated record of family retention and community building—beyond enrollment metrics alone
- Experience managing sensitive family dynamics where your judgment and discretion were the foundation of sustained trust
- A talent for designing experiences—events, moments, settings—that make people feel part of something they want to preserve
- Prior startup or early-stage experience where you built from the ground up and maintained composure amid rapid change
