What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting daily morning sessions that motivate and prepare student-athletes for the day
- Delivering 1:1 coaching focused on academic achievement and personal development
- Guiding life skill sessions through storytelling, reflective exercises, and hands-on mentorship
- Directing afternoon training sessions that develop resilience, teamwork, and responsibility
- Monitoring individual progress and maintaining rigorous expectations for mindset and output
Athletics Coach key responsibilities
- We're looking for former elite athletes with proven success at the highest competitive levels — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching life skills through sport
- Proven motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to or currently reside in Austin, TX

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
