Summer Sports Camp Counselor (Part-Time)

About TruElite Athletics
TruElite Athletics is a sports performance training facility dedicated to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. We create a high-energy, positive environment focused on athletic performance, character development, and confidence building.
This summer, we are looking for motivated and reliable Summer Sports Camp Counselors to help lead and support our youth athletes.
Position Overview
TruElite Athletics is seekingindividuals who have experience working with youth and a passion for mentoring young athletes.
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will play a key role in creating a fun, structured, and engaging environment while assisting with daily camp operations, drills, and activities.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with kids, love sports, and want hands-on experience in a performance training environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist coaches with daily camp activities, drills, and workouts
- Supervise and engage with youth athletes (various age groups)
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment
- Lead small groups during drills, games, and transitions
- Support setup and breakdown of equipment
- Serve as a positive role model for all athletes
- Encourage effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Current college student or collegiate athlete (preferred)
- Experience working with youth (coaching, camps, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to Huntersville, NC
- Positive attitude, high energy, and dependable work ethic
Schedule
- Part-time, flexible weekly schedule
- Camp hours will be communicated in advance
- Must be available for scheduled camp weeks throughout the summer
Compensation
- $15–$20 per hour, based on experience
