What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions work is designed around volume. This position is designed around standards.
Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school models anywhere. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, with results supported by measurable data. Afternoons are reserved for deeper engagement, independent work, and practical skill development. The model delivers. But only when paired with aligned families.
This is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a relay position. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices reflect genuine fit. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate meaningful conversations, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is mutual alignment.
We welcome candidates from high-end service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, premium hospitality, executive client services, exclusive membership groups, or owner-operators who have directly overseen high-stakes client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, phased engagement with discernment, precision, and consistency.
If you have built your career on providing exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experience define the brand, this role will be recognizable—just directed toward work that meaningfully affects outcomes.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-campus position. We are recruiting in Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Orange County, Roswell, Chicago, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Relocation assistance is provided.
