What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Advisor, Sports Academy - $150,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Few families realize a school like this is even an option. Your role is to ensure the right ones commit.
Texas Sports Academy operates on a model that most institutions avoid: combining elite athletic training with accelerated academics without compromise. Families who discover us are actively seeking an alternative. What they need is a trusted advisor who can guide them to a confident enrollment decision.
That advisor is you. You lead consultative sales discussions — not passive follow-up campaigns. You identify the root of hesitation, address it head-on, eliminate the barrier, and request the commitment. You manage 20 active prospects in a structured CRM pipeline with clearly defined stages and reliable close forecasts. Your performance metric is conversion rate, not call volume. When a deal loses momentum, you disqualify it — maintaining pipeline integrity is strategic discipline, not abandonment.
This is an on-site position located in San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX. If you're based there — or prepared to relocate — submit your application now.
What You Will Be Doing
Generate sustained enrollment expansion for Texas Sports Academy by transforming qualified prospective families into confirmed, paid enrollments through structured consultative sales execution.
Basic Requirements
Texas Sports Academy is Where Future Champions Excel in Academics and Athletics
Traditional schools force student-athletes to choose between excelling in academics or committing to their sport. Texas Sports Academy eliminates that tradeoff.
Their innovative K-8 model, based in Austin, TX, uses AI-driven learning to accelerate academics, allowing students to master core subjects in just two hours a day.
The rest of their day is dedicated to athletic training, skill-building, and personal development - so students excel in both their studies and their sport.
By integrating advanced educational technology with structured sports training, they provide a unique learning experience that builds discipline, leadership, and resilience.
It's academics and athletics in perfect sync.

What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting 1:1 consultative sales engagements with prospective families through phone calls, Zoom sessions, and face-to-face meetings — identifying academic, athletic, and household decision factors before presenting any solution
- Identifying and addressing objections in the moment — related to cost, model credibility, or alternative options — rather than deferring to post-call follow-up
- Requesting enrollment commitment and finalizing the close — the engagement concludes with payment secured, not verbal agreement alone
- Managing a dynamic pipeline of 20 prospects from start to finish — updating stage and close likelihood in CRM, executing rapid and tailored follow-ups after each touchpoint, and proactively disqualifying inactive deals instead of allowing them to linger
- Escalating the close to a senior admissions leader or school executive — you retain ownership of the conversation from initial inquiry to final enrollment
- Relying on a standardized objection-handling script — every family's concern is unique and requires live diagnosis
- Allowing families to control the decision timeline — you guide the process toward a definitive outcome

- Experience managing 10 concurrent prospects in a defined pipeline
- Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferred) to manage pipeline stages, log interactions, and track close probability

- Based in or willing to relocate to San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX; this is an on-site role
- Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Experience in K–12 private school admissions, tutoring center enrollment, or learning center sales where the parent serves as the primary decision-maker and the offering demands detailed explanation
- Track record selling a non-traditional education model (micro school, competency-based learning, hybrid or accelerated academics) to skeptical families
- Proven pipeline rigor — ability to present conversion rate gains across a specific timeframe, supported by data on deal tracking, prioritization, and closure
