Junior Project Manager

Location: Newark, DE

Work Setup: On-site

Contract Length: 6 months

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects under the guidance of senior project leadership. This role is ideal for an organized professional who can coordinate multiple priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.

Junior Project Manager Responsibilities

• Assist with developing project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate project activities and track deliverables to ensure tasks remain on schedule.
• Monitor project progress and help identify, document, and address risks and issues.
• Communicate project status and updates to team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Support project management best practices, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support to project teams.
• Support relationships and communications with external partners and vendors.
  
  

Junior Project Manager Qualifications

• PMP certification is required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and project documentation effectively.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across project teams and stakeholder groups.
  
  

Junior Project Manager Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource coordination.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, reporting, and process improvement.
