SharePoint Architect

Contract Length: 3 months

Work Setup: Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect to support the Emergency Preparedness team by designing and implementing a high-quality, user-friendly SharePoint site. This SharePoint Architect role is ideal for someone who can translate business processes into scalable technical solutions while partnering closely with stakeholders and SMEs.

SharePoint Architect Responsibilities

• Design and build an intuitive, scalable, and compliant SharePoint site for the Emergency Preparedness team
• Translate EP team workflows and business processes into effective SharePoint functionality
• Collaborate directly with PECO process subject matter experts to gather requirements and define site structure
• Recommend SharePoint best practices, quality standards, and usability improvements
• Create clear documentation to support knowledge transfer and long-term site ownership
• Lead the handoff process to ensure the EP team can maintain and use the SharePoint environment effectively
  
  

SharePoint Architect Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in SharePoint, business analysis, or related technical solution design
• Proven success building high-quality, scalable, and intuitive SharePoint sites
• Strong ability to convert complex workflows into practical SharePoint solutions
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with EP team members and SMEs
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience advising teams on SharePoint governance, architecture, and best practices
  
  

SharePoint Architect Additional Details

• Schedule: Full-time, dayshift, Monday through Friday
• Team Structure: This SharePoint Architect will work independently
• Interview Process: Virtual
