Maintenance Leader

Compensation
- Base: $90K–$110K
- Bonus: 13% annual (Can earn up to 200%)
Role Summary
Hands-on maintenance leadership role in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Owns maintenance planning, scheduling, breakdown analysis, and equipment reliability. Daily floor presence required. Accountable for PM health, backlog control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Review and prioritize all work orders within 24 hrs.
- Maintain a clean, current CMMS backlog for reporting.
- Lead weekly and monthly maintenance scheduling.
- Build schedules aligned to the annual maintenance plan.
- Coordinate planned stops and integrate all maintenance tasks.
- Adjust daily plans based on production changes and work completion.
Daily Floor Execution
- Lead daily maintenance floor meetings.
- Review prior job completion, breakdowns, and schedule adherence.
- Drive accountability for execution quality.
- Partner with Line Leaders and Process Engineers.
Reliability & Continuous Improvement
- Lead breakdown analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive Breakdown Elimination (BDE).
- Monitor and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM).
- Support AM, CIL, Centerline, Defect Handling.
- Track maintenance KPIs and in-process measures.
- Develop and execute improvement plans.
- Present KPI results to site leadership monthly.
Documentation & Standards
- Own maintenance technical documentation.
- Ensure drawings, schematics, and procedures are accurate and accessible.
- Create One Point Lessons (OPLs).
- Train and qualify operators and technicians.
- Enforce Change Management (CM) for all equipment modifications.
Parts & Storeroom Collaboration
- Partner with storeroom on obsolete parts, quality issues, stock levels, and lead times.
- Monitor parts usage and maintenance cost trends.
Leadership & Coaching
- Act as site maintenance subject matter expert.
- Coach hourly maintenance technicians and operators.
- Support development of other maintenance leaders.
- Participate in PM pillar teams and site PM system ownership.
Projects & Equipment Support
- Support new equipment installs and process changes.
- Participate in vendor acceptance testing.
- Provide maintenance input on equipment design.
Safety & Performance
- Enforce safety standards and compliance.
- Deliver SQCDMN goals daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
- Maintain a strong floor-level safety culture.
Education & Experience
- 4-year engineering degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3–5 yrs manufacturing experience with demonstrated technical aptitude and leadership.
- Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling systems.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with:
- Electrical and electronic systems
- Mechanical systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and lead without authority.
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Comfortable working in fluid, changing environments.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to adjust schedule to support 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
