Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) in an acute care facility located in the region is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment. This role involves providing patient care in a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting diagnostic and interventional heart procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: RN for Cardiac Cath Lab with responsibilities including patient monitoring and supporting diagnostic and interventional heart catheter procedures.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; no minimum experience required.
- Schedule: Day shift; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit has a patient ratio of 1:1, with approximately 25 staff members. Typical procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart interventions. The assignment requires working every fifth weekend on call from 7 am Saturday to 7 am Monday.
