Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) located in an acute care facility is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a 10-hour day shift position. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures, including structural heart interventions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and procedural success within a fast-paced cardiac specialty unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license or relevant certification; certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic and interventional heart cath procedures, structural heart procedures, and familiarity with unit equipment such as X-ray, Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Mac Lab, iSTAT, and Avox.

• Additional Information: The unit has 5 beds with a staff of 25, operating during day shifts with a patient ratio of 1:1. The setting requires candidates to work weekends and be on call every 5th weekend from 7 am Saturday to 7 am Monday. The position involves working in a cardiac specialty environment with a focus on diagnostic and interventional procedures.
