This role involves providing compassionate and skilled nursing care in a Magnet Facility with Level II Trauma designation. Job Details Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS certification; active or pending Alaska Registered Nurse license with the ability to complete the license application within 48 hours of signing; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required. Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics, monitoring patients, administering chemotherapy when applicable, and utilizing electronic charting systems. Engagement in procedures such as IV insertion, blood product administration, oxygen therapy, and isolation precautions. Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs. Candidates must have recent experience with charting systems and be adaptable to unit needs. Submission of references covering one year within the last three years is required, along with documentation of a valid state license in hand for auto-offer processing. All shifts may involve working during holidays, with requests for specific days required during application.
