Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join the team at a medical facility. The position involves providing acute patient care for neuro and medical ICU patients, with a focus on stabilizing critically ill individuals through advanced nursing practices and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Job Details Position: ICU Registered Nurse Location: Boise, Idaho Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Education, Experience & Location Requirements: Current RN license, minimum of 2 years ICU experience, and valid certifications. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 09/28/2026 to 03/29/2027. Responsibilities: Monitor and read patient strips using Spacelabs, titrate multiple types of drips including dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, cardene, nitro, neo, vasopressin, diltiazem, insulin, and esmolol, and collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist staff. Additional Information: Floats to other ICUs in the valley may be required, including outside of ICU to be a 1:1 sitter. The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 and 1:2, with available CNA support. Staffing may include weekend and holiday coverage as needed, with a broad scope of critical care practices and protocols.
