Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) at a healthcare facility located in Meriden, CT. The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts. This position requires a minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience, including recent EPIC electronic health record experience within the past six months. The successful candidate must hold certifications in Trauma Nursing Course (TNCC) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of ER experience, recent EPIC experience within six months, certifications in TNCC and NIHSS, experience in an ED with over 150 patient visits per day, required certifications as listed


• Preferred Qualifications: None specified


• Float: Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: The position involves working every other weekend and every other holiday. There is no on-call requirement. The facility seeks a dedicated ER RN capable of managing a high-volume Emergency Department.
