Full-time Housekeeper

Position:            Live-out Housekeeper

Schedule:          Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm or 10am – 6pm (flexible with schedule)

Location:           Katonah, NY

Salary:              $45 – 50/hour based on experience             

Overview:

Active family of five (children ages 5, 3 & 1 month) is seeking an experienced, diligent and highly organized Full-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home in Katonah, NY. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. Needs to be a self-starter with excellent systematic cleaning and laundry experience.

Responsibilities:

·      Housekeeping: Responsible for full-charge housekeeping of household, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces. Particular attention to kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.

·      Laundry: General laundry and ironing, including washing, folding and putting away clothes.

·      Occasional help with childcare, including keeping an eye on kids at home if mom or nanny need to run the others to an activity or appointment. 

·      Basic cooking/food prep capability would be helpful, but not a must.

Requirements:

·      5 years of experience working in a highly organized home

·      Honest, discreet and trustworthy

·      Professional, keen eye for detail, and proactive

·      Must drive and have own car

·      Dog friendly; family has two dogs: Golden Retriever and a Husky Mix

·      Non-smoker
