Overview
A busy family of five is seeking a full-time housekeeper for their townhouse on the Upper East Side. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7am-6pm. This role can be live-in or live-out- the live-in accommodations are a bedroom and bathroom that are shared with the weekend housekeeper/nanny.
Responsibilities
- All care of a five-floor townhouse
- Deep cleaning
- Daily tidying and organization
- Errands and accepting packages
- Laundry
- Cooking breakfast for the children daily, and ideally dinner for the family 2-3 times per week (easy family-style cooking)
- Basic pet care for the family dog
- Some travel to the family's second home upstate during the summer months
Qualifications
- Efficient and detail-oriented
- Proactive self-starter who can manage their time effectively
- Team player- the family has a solid team and is looking for someone to work cohesively
- Happy to work in a busy environment with children
Requirements
- US work authorization
- Driving is NOT required but would be a bonus
- Swimming is NOT required but would be a bonus
- Ability to climb the stairs in a townhouse
- Able to work around and with a dog
- Willingness to spend some time at the family's second home during the summer months
Salary and Benefits
- $35-40/hr.
