Housekeeper

A private household in Greenwich, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to keep the residence to a very high standard. This is a hands-on, deep cleaning role for someone who takes real pride in a spotless home and works comfortably with organic cleaning products. The role includes preparing light, healthy Mediterranean lunches and requires a candidate who is comfortable and friendly around children. The role works alongside three other housekeepers, and full discretion is always expected. The ideal candidate is quiet, reliable, and respectful of the household's privacy.

Schedule & Compensation

•     Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

•     $45 per hour

•     Double pay on weekend days worked

•     Overtime (1.5x) after 40 hours per week

•     Health insurance included

Responsibilities

•     Perform detailed, deep cleaning throughout the home, maintaining a consistently high standard

•     Use organic cleaning products throughout

•     Handle basic laundry

•     Run errands as needed, limited to the dry cleaner, the market, and the pharmacy

•     Willing to prepare lunch in a healthy Mediterranean style, gluten free, with no lamb

•     Maintain a quiet, low-profile presence and full discretion regarding household privacy

•     No personal phone or photography permitted while on duty

Qualifications

•     Prior experience with detailed, deep cleaning in a large private home

•     Comfortable working exclusively with organic and eco-friendly cleaning products

•     Physically able to keep pace with the demands of thorough cleaning in a large home

•     Valid driver's license for local errands

•     Highly reliable with a strong eye for detail

•     Well organized, able to keep the home and its systems running smoothly

•     Quiet, discreet, and respectful of personal boundaries

•     Comfortable working as part of a team of housekeepers

•     Child-friendly, with a warm and patient manner around children

•     Willing and able to prepare healthy, gluten free Mediterranean lunches (no lamb)

•     Must complete an annual health check as a condition of employment

•     Must sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) prior to starting
