As The Program Director Of Behavioral Services, You Will
- Lead and mentor a team of Behavior Specialists, BCaBAs, BCBAs, and clinical contractors across ICF and waiver programs.
- Oversee development, implementation, and compliance of individualized Behavior Support Plans.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create impactful interventions.
- Serve as liaison with regulatory bodies and ensure full compliance with VDH and Medicaid standards.
- Supervise clinical documentation and quality assurance within our electronic health record system (Credible).
- Train and certify staff in behavioral competencies and Therapeutic Options of Virginia (TOVA).
- Provide BCBA/BCaBA supervision hours to qualifying staff.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Services or related field
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed as a Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Must be an approved supervisor by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in behavior management, developmental disabilities, and/or therapeutic consultation with documented progressive clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, assessment, and data analysis skills
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Residential programs, day programs, and community settings for people with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, or other disabilities.
- Must use universal precautions.
- Provides direct supervision to the Behavior Specialists, Contractors, BCaBAs and BCBAs.
