What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Scientist: Ligand Binding Assays position at Crescent Solutions, Inc.?
Key Responsibilities
· Organizes and conducts routine and non-routine ligand-binding assays, such as ELISA, Luminex, and Flow Cytometry sample preparation in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
· Plans and performs controlled analytical testing on various types of biological samples (nonclinical, preclinical, and clinical matrices).
· Documents work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
· Learns to set up, operate, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment and so maintain it in compliance with GLP and SOP requirements.
· Under instruction can perform assist with assay method development, qualification, and validation activities.
Essential Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Life sciences, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Biology or related field.
· Minimum two years laboratory experience. Industry experience preferred.
· Possess a cursory knowledge of antibody chemistry including antibody titration, labeling, and appropriate controls to evaluate specificity.
· Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
· A sense of urgency, speed, persistence, and organization in a dynamic and exciting work environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
