Youâll be responsible for delivering monthly financial reports, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives that drive business growth.
What Youâll Do As a Financial Reporting Analyst
- Deliver monthly dashboards and financial reporting packages to internal stakeholders
- Analyze KPIs, P&L trends, and return metrics to uncover performance drivers and variances
- Collaborate with trading business units to review cost reporting and provide financial insights
- Support the annual budgeting process across multiple teams and departments
- Conduct scenario modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide strategic planning
- Create compelling presentations that translate financial data into clear action items
- Continuously improve budgeting, projections, and cash flow forecasting processes
- Act as a subject matter expert on internal financial data and reporting tools
- Build and maintain financial models to support trading, operations, and strategic initiatives
- 3â5 years of experience in FP&A, ideally within trading, investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Experience with data visualization tools (Qlik Sense preferred) and SQL or similar platforms
- Proven ability to automate reporting processes and consolidate data from ERP systems (Workday preferred)
- Familiarity with budgeting tools like Adaptive Planning
- Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, MBA) are a plus
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
