- Lead all accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, government accounting standards, and grant requirements
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing professional development and ensuring effective delegation of responsibilities
- Oversee fiscal compliance with federal, state, and foundation grants and contracts, including monitoring and required reporting
- Manage financial systems, payroll, tax filings, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare financial reports and projections for the board, executive director, and leadership team
- Partner with outside auditors on the annual audit, IRS filings, and other compliance obligations
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis for the organization
- Provide strategic financial counsel to executive leadership and the board
- 5 years of finance and accounting experience, including nonprofit exposure
- Experience with federal and/or state grants strongly preferred
- Knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
