Key Responsibilities
- Review housing documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with HUD regulations.
- Conduct cleanup of compliance-related records and implement improved processes.
- Develop and document policies and procedures to support ongoing compliance.
- Provide staff training to ensure correct documentation practices.
- Quickly adapt to complex regulatory requirements and plug into compliance work with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with leadership to strengthen compliance workflows and maintain accountability.
- Understanding of common nonprofit housing terms such as AMI, federal poverty limits, FMR (fair market rent), utility allowances, HQS/habitability inspections, tenant and agency contributions, contract rent, and gross rent.
- Previous experience in a non-profit environment with strong knowledge of compliance requirements, familiarity with HUD contracts and/or
- Familiarity with HUD contracts or housing compliance strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to establish clear, effective workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support staff.

Salary : $62,000 - $80,000
