AR Accounting Assistant

Our client, a well known nonprofit organization, is looking for an AR Accounting Assistant to add to their team. The AR Accounting Assistant will be handling accounts receivable and working with the accounting team with donations, payment collection, donor management, etc. This role will be onsite in Nashville, TN.

Salary up to $60,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities Of The AR Accounting Assistant

• Ensure accuracy in billing per grant agreements or donor pledges
• Monitor and record incoming payments (checks, ACH, online donations, wire transfers)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and donor information in accounting and CRM systems
• Prepare and issue invoices for donations, grants, sponsorships, program services, and other revenue
• Generate donor receipts and acknowledgment letters for contributions
