What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Designer position at Creative Circle?
Our client is looking for a Digital Designer. This freelance assignment starts as soon as a candidate is identified and will be approximately 5-10 hours per week / 30 hours per month. This will be an ongoing assignment and hours will vary based on workload. The Digital Designer is a hands-on role and has the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with company leadership to bring creative concepts to life. The ideal Digital Designer will understand the brand aesthetic, have the ability to work on a variety of projects across multiple channels, with an emphasis on website design, and turn projects around quickly and accurately. This person must be highly collaborative but confident with bringing ideas to the table. Additionally, if you have experience with DTC or experience in the clothing brand industry, please call that out. Digital Designer Responsibilities: - Design pieces for the digital space, with am emphasis on web - Develop design systems, creates scalable, modular templates to improve efficiency and brand consistency - Data-driven mindset with the ability to implement and optimize A/B testing based on performance insights - Deliver engaging motion and animation assets by maximizing creative potential within existing brand resources - Collaborate closely with cross functional team such as CRM, e-commerce, and marketing - Translate marketing/brand strategies into exceptional design and creative initiatives - Ensure that brand standards are being adhered to and used throughout all design pieces - Present ideas to both internal and external teams - Ensure the quality of design strengthens and supports the brand, ensuring message consistency and brand personality/tone - Prioritize assignments and workflows to ensure on-time delivery of all assets Digital Designer Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 3 years experience of graphic design, preferably in a DTC environment - Strong knowledge of Figma - Experience executing a brand voice through creative - Portfolio showcasing relevant work, specifically in digital and web design - Strong eye for typography, color, and visual hierarchy aligned with brand voice - Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere) - Experience using Asana - Proficient with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo and Salesforce, adapting designs within platform limitations - Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) - Strong understanding of responsive design and user experience principles - MAC proficient - Motion, Video and/or Photography experience is a bonus - Basic understanding of HTML/CSS - Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization skills - Passionate about creativity and confident in presenting fresh, strategic ideas - Must have laptopAdvertised Compensation & Benefits
