Position Overview
Our Entertainment client is seeking a Video/Content Editor to help them with a variety of design needs. This is an on-site role in Charlotte, with flexibility for travel to video or photography shoots. It's estimated that this will be around 40 hours/week for about 3 months with potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit video content with speed, accuracy, and creativity using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
- Apply effective color correction and color grading to achieve high-quality visual results.
- Optimize and export videos across various formats and platforms, with strong knowledge of codecs.
- Support videography and photography shoots, including setup, lighting, and capturing footage/stills.
- Edit and retouch raw photography and integrate stills into video projects when needed.
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain brand consistency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of codecs, formats, and export workflows.
- Experience with videography, photography, and lighting setups.
- Skilled in editing and retouching raw photography/imagery.
- Strong grasp of color correction and color grading.
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
