Our well-known entertainment streaming client is seeking an SEO Specialist to join their team for the next 5 months. This is a 40 hour/week, contract opportunity requiring 5 days/week onsite West Hollywood, CA.
Role Summary
The SEO Specialist, Streaming will support global SEO operations for major streaming brands. This role focuses on content-driven SEO initiatives, reporting, and optimization to improve visibility and performance across search engines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Top Must-Have Skills
Proficiency in inputting sports and entertainment content into SEO/data tools.
Ability to pull monthly performance data, craft insightful reports, and create executive-ready presentations.
Strong editorial and SEO copyediting skills, with a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals.
Experience performing weekly CMS updates and supporting content workflows.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present confidently to senior leaders.
Additional Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on content optimization rather than technical SEO.
Familiarity with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Search Console) and SEO crawlers (e.g., Screaming Frog, Botify).
Experience with CMS platforms; WordPress knowledge is a plus.
Comfort working with analytics tools and interpreting data trends; Adobe Analytics experience is a bonus.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Interest in entertainment, streaming, and digital content strategy.
Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day SEO tasks, including keyword research, on-page audits, and performance monitoring.
Maintain weekly and monthly SEO reporting dashboards, summarizing insights and trends for leadership.
Provide feedback on editorial content to optimize for SEO and assist with copyediting.
Support CMS updates, metadata adjustments, and publishing workflows for new content launches.
Monitor traffic, new show releases, and live events; summarize performance and identify opportunities.
Assist in crafting requirements, best practices, and documentation for go-to-market strategies and new projects.
Collaborate with editorial, marketing, product, and international teams to ensure SEO alignment.
Stay informed on evolving SEO trends and search behaviors to recommend improvements.
