Position: Senior-Level Brand Communications Role
We are conducting a search for a seasoned communications leader to oversee brand strategy and execution for a diverse portfolio of CPG brands. This role requires a strong background in public relations, influencer engagement, and integrated marketing.
Location & Schedule:
- Initial onsite presence for a short-term onboarding period (approx. 1-2 months).
- Transition to a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (rotating WFH days based on team needs).
- Office is located within a 20-mile radius of Downtown Los Angeles
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and execute comprehensive communications strategies across multiple brands.
- Drive earned media initiatives and community engagement aligned with broader marketing efforts.
- Oversee development of press materials, social content, and editorial calendars.
- Lead influencer programs, including KPI tracking, analytics, and reporting.
- Manage budgets for earned media and ensure excellence in event planning.
- Act as liaison for agency partners, local market needs, and crisis communications.
- Deliver actionable insights through analytics dashboards and monthly reporting.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to maintain consistent messaging and campaign success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10 years of experience in PR and brand communications with proven success at scale.
- Prior experience working on CPG brands is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Expertise in media relations, influencer engagement, and integrated marketing strategies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable interfacing with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
