Overview
Our agency client is seeking an experienced Print Production Manager to support a globally recognized technology company on a 9-month freelance engagement. This is a 40-hour-per-week opportunity beginning in mid-September. Candidates must be located in the Redmond or Greater Seattle area and able to work in a hybrid capacity, spending 1-2 days per week onsite with the agency's global technology client in Redmond.
The ideal candidate will bring experience providing end-to-end operational leadership for worldwide retail campaign production and will serve as a key partner in coordinating complex print initiatives across brand, agency, visual merchandising, and production teams. This role is ideal for a highly organized project manager who excels at driving alignment, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring flawless execution of global retail campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end operational leadership for worldwide retail campaign production
- Establish clear project plans, timelines, and production workbacks
- Keep contributors and decision-makers aligned throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage dependencies, approvals, and stakeholder communications across multiple teams
- Coordinate print testing and resolve production issues as they arise
- Ensure final, production-ready print assets are delivered to worldwide retail partners on time, within scope, and according to technical and brand requirements
- Clarify requirements, document decisions, track action items, and proactively escalate blockers
- Lead project kickoffs, production reviews, status meetings, and cross-functional discussions
- Maintain and improve operational processes, templates, trackers, and handoff procedures that support efficient global retail production
- Track vendor estimates, production costs, scope changes, invoices, and purchase order inputs
- Identify and communicate potential budget impacts to stakeholders
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience providing end-to-end operational leadership for worldwide retail campaign production
- Strong understanding of print production processes and workflows
- Proven project management experience managing timelines, approvals, dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to reliably work onsite with the client in Redmond, WA 1-2 times per week
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Experience supporting global retail, brand, or visual merchandising initiatives
- Experience partnering with agencies, production vendors, and distributed stakeholder groups
