Our client in the media/publication space is seeking a part-time Marketing Project Manager to support campaign execution and publication workflows. This role combines marketing, project management, and customer success to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and sponsored content.
Marketing Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end marketing and publication timelines, ensuring projects meet deadlines and milestones
- Develop and maintain project plans, calendars, and templates using tools such as ClickUp or Asana
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, editors, and clients to finalize publication content and schedules
- Oversee sponsored content and advertising deliverables, ensuring alignment with campaign goals
- Support execution of marketing campaigns, including email, social, and digital advertising (e.g., banner ads)
- Write and refine short-form marketing copy, including ad copy and calls-to-action (CTAs)
- Monitor and report on basic campaign performance metrics (e.g., email open rates, conversion rates)
- Partner with customer success teams to guide clients through deliverables and timelines
- Provide process improvements and consultative input to optimize workflows and project execution
Marketing Project Manager Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, including campaign execution and basic performance analytics
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana)
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with media, publications, or advertising campaigns preferred
- Excellent communication and client-facing (customer success) skills
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including editors and advertisers
