High Level Details:
- 40/hours a week through end of the year with potential to extend
- This person can be fully remote, however if they are local to Chicago and can go on-site hybrid there is potential for this to go full-time direct hire down the road
- Rate: $40-45/hour depending on experience
- This person also must have their own computer access to software (Articulate, Storyline etc)
Our association client is looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join their team through the end of the year. This person will be expected to attend weekly meeting and huddles working CST zone.
This is an exciting role for an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement innovative continuing medical education (CME) and performance improvement learning solutions for physicians, residents, medical students and health care professionals.
The ideal candidate would have experience in the application of adult learning approaches, models, and technologies to improve education for continuing professional development for or physicians or Continued Medical Education experience. Deliverables include curricula, learning objectives and competency requirements, core content and job aids, evaluation/assessment tools, and related learning materials.
Requirements of the Instructional Designer Include:
-5 years of experience in instructional learning experience designer, eLearning or curriculum development role
-Excellent design skills using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Vyond, etc.
-Strong writing skills; including proofreading and grammar
-Experience with quality assurance and accessibility testing (e.g., using screen reader, checking color contrast, writing alternative text, presenting content in multiple ways, etc.)
-Experience in developing education for physicians or CME experience is strong PLUS
Responsibilities of the Instructional Designer:
-Coordinating the design, development, and implementation of education and educational resources for physicians and health care professionals
-Providing expertise in the analysis, design and development of learning solutions
-Facilitating processes to analyze content, target audience, and learner environment to identify appropriate learning strategies to establish inclusion, develop positive attitudes, promote meaningful learning, and further competence in accordance with existing research in adult learning principles and practices
-Implementing and publishing educational activities in accordance with standards by collaborating with multiple team members in our publishing workflow, including uploading files and adjusting fields as needed
-Working with subject matter experts, external provider partners and collaborators, and the Education Center team to develop and deliver high-quality education
