Our client, a beauty / culinary CPG company, is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer (Beauty / Culinary CPG) to join their team for the next 6 months, onsite at their office in Stamford, CT!
This is an onsite role, and will be 40 hours per week with potential to extend.
\*This is onsite 5 days a week (they may consider 3 days ) with an EASY commute from Grand Central Station in NYC\
The Freelance Graphic Designer (Beauty / Culinary CPG) will:
Design across full CPG creative workstreams, including packaging, brand assets, and digital content
Create eCommerce PDP visuals, including product imagery and graphic overlays
Support campaigns, social content, and retail marketing assets
Adapt and apply design systems across Beauty, Home, and Culinary categories
Maintain and evolve brand identity systems, ensuring consistency across product lines
Develop scalable design toolkits for packaging and digital channels
Ensure accuracy and compliance across global markets and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with copywriters, retouchers, producers, and cross-functional teams
Partner with photo and eCommerce teams to align on visual direction
Participate in creative reviews and concept development
Prepare production-ready files with strong attention to detail
Maintain organized files, version control, and workflow efficiency
Support Creative Operations to reduce rework and improve execution quality
The Freelance Graphic Designer (Beauty / Culinary CPG) has:
3 years of design experience, preferably within CPG, beauty, home, food, or lifestyle
Strong portfolio showcasing packaging, brand identity, and digital design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
Solid understanding of packaging production, color management, and regulatory considerations
Strong visual problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Highly collaborative, with openness to feedback
Passion for design craft and maintaining brand consistency
Organized, calm, and solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to balance creativity with speed and accuracy
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
