Schedule: freelance, 40 hours/week
Duration: ~6 months
We're looking for a seasoned Content Strategist to lead the development and execution of member and provider communications across multiple channels. This role is critical in shaping content strategies that drive clarity, engagement, and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities- Curate, write, and produce high-quality content that reinforces brand identity and enhances engagement
- Lead end-to-end deployment of content campaigns, from ideation through implementation
- Develop plain-language content to improve clarity and audience experience
- Execute communications across multiple channels for maximum reach and effectiveness
- Manage timelines and resources to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery
- Maintain a unified content calendar aligned with key programs and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Conduct content audits to uphold corporate policies, SOPs, and style guides
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align content initiatives
- Gather and analyze customer insights to refine strategy and execution
- Establish metrics to monitor performance and recommend improvements
- Lead large, complex projects to achieve strategic goals
- Provide training and guidance on departmental processes for new team members
- Support development and maintenance of team processes, manuals, and guides
- Serve as communications lead on internal workgroups and committees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience writing consumer-friendly, plain-language content
- Proven ability to implement content across multiple platforms and channels
- Healthcare content experience preferred
- Strong understanding of subject lines, CTAs, and engagement-driven writing styles
