Our client, a well-known investment and insurance organization, is seeking a part-time Freelance Content Producer to support ongoing multimedia content initiatives. This role focuses on producing high-quality podcast, video, and photography content that aligns with a defined brand strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong creative instincts, sound editorial judgment, and the ability to work independently while delivering polished, engaging content. The Content Producer will contribute creatively, apply storytelling best practices, and execute content with consistency and professionalism.

The Basics

• Duration: 6-month contract
• Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid; New York, NY (on-site presence required for select events)

Key Responsibilities

• Record and edit podcast episodes, including audio cleanup, sequencing, and preparation of final files
• Produce and edit short-form video content for social media, events, webinars, interviews, and talking-head segments
• Apply creative judgment to pacing, framing, sound, and visual storytelling
• Conduct light research to support podcast content, captions, and related materials
• Manage projects and workflows using Wrike, ensuring timely delivery and clear organization
• Stay current on social media trends, formats, and best practices
• Provide occasional on-site photo and video coverage for events
• Maintain organized file management and version control across deliverables

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in content production, video editing, or multimedia roles
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop
• Experience editing podcasts and short-form video for digital and social platforms
• Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment and basic production techniques
• Strong understanding of social media trends and digital content formats
• Ability to work independently with a fast turnaround mindset
• High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with AI tools for editing, research, or workflow optimization is a plus

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
