Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite Monday-Friday)

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Overview

Our client is seeking an Associate Producer to join a fast-paced content team focused on identifying emerging trends, culturally relevant moments, and engaging creator content. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply immersed in internet culture, social media, and short-form video content and has a strong instinct for what will resonate with Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career creative who is passionate about content, trends, creators, and digital culture.

Responsibilities

• Identify trending, culturally relevant, and emerging content for platform promotion.
• Monitor social platforms and creator communities to surface timely content and conversations.
• Review large volumes of content and make strong editorial decisions regarding what should be elevated.
• Identify emerging creators and content trends before they become mainstream.
• Stay on top of major pop culture moments, music, entertainment, sports, and internet trends.
• Support content creation initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and engaging content experiences.
• Maintain a deep understanding of audience behavior, particularly Gen Z and Gen Alpha users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 years of experience in content, social media, digital media, creator economy, or related fields.
• Deep passion for social media, internet culture, and short-form video platforms.
• Strong understanding of current trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
• Excellent editorial judgment and understanding of what makes content engaging.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly reactive environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Deeply plugged into U.S. pop culture and internet trends.
• Understands Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.
• Passionate about creators, storytelling, and digital content.
• May have experience creating content personally through TikTok, Reels, YouTube, Snapchat, or similar platforms.
• Backgrounds in film, theater, media, communications, journalism, digital content, or other creative disciplines are highly relevant.
• Naturally curious and able to spot trends before they become mainstream.
• Comfortable reviewing large volumes of content and making quick editorial decisions.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
