Overview of the Role
Our enterprise technology client is seeking an Agency Marketing Lead to support the execution of agency marketing programs within a leading digital advertising platform environment. This role focuses on bringing an established marketing strategy to life by executing campaigns, developing agency-facing content, and supporting engagement efforts across the agency ecosystem.
The Agency Marketing Lead will partner closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated programs that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of advertising solutions. This is a highly hands-on role that requires strong execution, storytelling, and organizational skills, with a focus on enabling agency teams through clear communication, compelling narratives, and scalable marketing materials.
The ideal candidate is an execution-focused B2B marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands agency audiences, and can translate product and business inputs into effective marketing outputs.
The Basics
- Duration: 1 year (Leave Coverage)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Onsite 3-4x per week in one of the following locations:
- Preferred/Primary: New York, NY; Chicago, IL
- Secondary: San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; Palo Alto, CA
Top 3 Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, agency marketing, or advertising-related environments
- Proven ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns and programs from brief through delivery
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate product information and data into compelling agency-facing narratives
Other Qualifications
- Experience working within or marketing to agency audiences, including holding companies and independent agencies
- Background in ad platforms, media, or technology companies strongly preferred
- Experience supporting go-to-market execution and campaign planning across multiple initiatives
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and identify next steps with limited direction
- Experience creating sales enablement materials such as presentations, case studies, and campaign assets
- Strong collaboration skills across Product Marketing, Sales, Communications, and other cross-functional teams
- Experience using presentation tools such as Google Slides and content tools such as Canva
- Data-informed mindset, with the ability to interpret insights and apply them to improve marketing programs
- Experience supporting agency-facing events or activations is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Execute agency marketing programs and campaigns based on established strategy and roadmap priorities
- Support planning and execution of initiatives aligned to upcoming marketing timelines and program milestones
- Develop and refine agency-facing messaging, translating product marketing materials into clear, relevant narratives for agency audiences
- Create and maintain marketing assets including presentations, enablement materials, and campaign content
- Manage development of case studies from intake through publication, coordinating across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Support agency communications, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across external touchpoints
- Partner with agency teams and internal stakeholders to identify perception gaps and inform marketing approaches
- Contribute to execution of agency-facing events and activations designed to drive engagement and education
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging, ensure consistency, and support integrated program delivery
- Track progress across initiatives, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality execution across multiple concurrent projects
- Apply insights and feedback to continuously improve marketing outputs and effectiveness
