Position Overview
This role is responsible for all sales activities and branch oversight, with a heavy focus on building and growing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales activities within the local territory and national accounts (60–70%).
Visit or call prospective and existing customers — scheduled or unscheduled.
Drive the territory to identify new business and understand customer needs.
Research prospects using online tools, industry materials, and networking.
Conduct customer interviews to assess transportation/business needs.
Build long-term customer relationships, including approved after-hours meetings.
Skills & Competencies
Tenacity & Persistence: Follow through on plans until goals are achieved or no longer attainable.
Time Management: Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively.
Verbal Communication: Strong ability to present and communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
