Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Business Manager to oversee an assigned sales territory, drive revenue growth through existing account management, and aggressively pursue new commercial and residential business opportunities. This role requires a proactive sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of an assigned sales territory, including account development, retention, and growth Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and trade partners Assist customers with product selection, specifications, and order fulfillment Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales reporting Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts Strong understanding of customer service excellence Self-starter with high motivation and accountability, able to work independently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and CRM systems Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the assigned territory Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
3 years of commercial sales and/or specification sales experience Experience in B2B sales environments Ability to manage complex pricing structures and large product catalogs Flooring industry experience strongly preferred
