Overview
A growing, locally owned outpatient physical therapy clinic is seeking a compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a one-on-one care model. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a Physical Therapist in a supportive, patient-focused environment that prioritizes quality care over volume.
What You’ll Do
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapeutic exercises and modalities (land and aquatic)
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
Educate patients and families on exercises and home care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress
Collaborate with a small, close-knit clinical team
Patient and Practice Details
One-on-one patient care (never double-booked)
8–12 patients per day
Patient age range: 14–80
Specialties include orthopedics, neuro, sports medicine (some pediatrics)
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (appointment only, rotating staff)
Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Texas PTA license or eligibility
Experience or interest in orthopedics, neuro, manual, or aquatic therapy (training provided)
Strong communication skills and passion for patient care
Comfortable working in an outpatient clinic setting
Compensation And Benefits
