Position Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor (Currency Processing Equipment) to oversee inventory management and vendor coordination. This role is critical to ensuring products are sourced efficiently, inventory levels are optimized, and operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is a leadership position and will oversee two direct reports.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of inventory control, including sourcing, stocking levels, and inventory counts Monitor inventory accuracy and implement processes to prevent shortages or overstocking Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers Evaluate vendor performance and assist with sourcing decisions as needed Identify opportunities to improve logistics and inventory workflows Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory and vendors Collaborate with internal teams to support operational needs Proactively identify and resolve logistical issues before they impact operations
Qualifications: Proven experience in inventory management and logistics operations Experience working directly with vendors and suppliers Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Proactive problem-solver who thinks creatively and outside the box Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Traits Highly organized and process-driven Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment,
