The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Junior CNC Machinist who wants to build a long-term career in machining. This role is ideal for someone early in their CNC journey who enjoys hands-on work, precision, and learning new skills in a structured manufacturing environment.
You’ll focus on producing high-quality parts while following established processes and quality standards. Accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are key to success in this role.
Reports to: Production Manager
What You’ll Do
Operate CNC mills and/or lathes following standard procedures
Safely load and unload parts and materials
Perform basic machine startups and shutdowns
Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Identify and report quality issues or machine abnormalities
Make basic offset adjustments (with training)
Assist with tool changes and machine setups under supervision
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and shop documentation
Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S)
Follow all safety policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
0–2 years of CNC or manufacturing experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical School Or Machining Coursework Preferred, Not Required
Basic understanding of CNC machining concepts
Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring tools
Willingness to learn CNC programming, setup, and advanced machining skills
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with CNC equipment, stamping presses, and fabrication machinery
Standing, walking, and hands-on work throughout the shift
Regular lifting of materials and tooling components
Pay & Benefits
