CNC Machinist
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, working with Haas and Grob CNC machines to produce high-quality stainless-steel parts. This role is essential in ensuring precision machining, quality control, and efficient production processes in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities: Machining & Operations
- Set up and operate milling, Haas and Grob CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining of stainless-steel parts.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switches.
- Monitor operations, verifying settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces to maintain strict quality standards.
- Maintain machining specifications by observing, measuring, and inspecting parts for precision.
- Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to controls and tooling.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, calling for repairs when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with company safety regulations.
Work Schedule:
- Fixed schedule, 1st and 2nd shift with a 45-minute lunch.
- Some evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of experience operating CNC machines (preferably Haas & Grob).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience in CNC operations, troubleshooting, and setting up mills.
